Seattle, WA – Getting out in the community to talk with folks about Washington’s waters…
CELP Welcomes Summer 2022 Legal Intern
Seattle, WA –CELP is thrilled to have Bridget Bryck joining us as our legal intern this summer. An opportunity to gain hands on experience, CELP has a long history of hosting interns with a demonstrated interest in environmental issues. There are a number of projects interns may work on: researching issues related to water management in Washington, identifying alternative water legal systems, drafting potential legislation, submitting comments and responses to agency rule making and engaging in litigation. Exact internship dates are flexible depending on academic schedules, but generally run from June – August and last 10 weeks.
Raised in the foothills of the White Mountains, Bridget has been passionate about the outdoors since childhood. After spending time as a volunteer in American Samoa, Bridget decided to pursue a career that would allow her to work towards protecting natural resources and the wild places she loves. As a law student at the University of Washington School of Law, she has developed an interest in the intersection of Indigenous rights and environmental law.
Bridget is thrilled to be interning with CELP this summer to gain conservation policy experience and to learn more about Washington’s waters and water policies from the CELP team.
Outside of law school, Bridget loves ski touring, backpacking, and baking plenty of snacks to fuel the adventures.
