Our water laws are in desperate need of modernization. CELP is launching an action plan this year—2022—to update Washington’s water laws to ensure they recognize Tribal Treaty Rights, and adequately address the most pressing issues moving forward: sustainability, promoting ecosystem health + services, and adapting to the climate crisis.
