Dave Monthie has been a water lawyer and policy analyst for over 20 years. Now in private practice in Olympia, he has also worked for King County’s Natural Resources Department, the Washington Department of Health, and as Staff Counsel for the Legislature’s Joint Select Committee on Water Resource Policy. Before moving to Washington in 1988, Dave represented the California Department of Water Resources. Dave holds a B.A. from Yale University, and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco. He is a member of the Washington and California State Bar Associations.
